Under development with partners from Kosovo, Bulgaria, Malta and Bosnia&Hercegovina, this project aims to:
- Address green and digital skill needs in the Western Balkans.
- Support VET institutions in the green transition through curriculum development and training.
The GreenBridge Project aims to strengthen the capacities of vocational education and training institutions in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina by enabling teachers to receive advanced training in the fields of the green economy and digital transformation. These skills and knowledge will help them transfer what they learn to students and young jobseekers, creating a modern and sustainable cycle of professional development.
A key pillar of this project is the close cooperation between vocational schools and enterprises, ensuring that professional skills and training are aligned with the real needs of the labor market. GreenBridge seeks to build precisely this bridge between the education system and the emerging green and digital economy, fostering functional cooperation that drives economic growth and innovation. The digital platforms and training programs to be developed will be practical, accessible, and tailored to the specific needs of teachers and business partners. At the same time, through the active involvement of policymakers and stakeholders, the project will contribute to the improvement of education policies and the strengthening of school–business cooperation
