Conducted by AVETAE with DVV International, this study examines the potential for implementing Level 5 qualifications in Kosovo’s VET schools. It evaluates institutional readiness, legal frameworks, staff capacity, and alignment with labor market needs, into the key points:
- Level 5 Qualifications are seen as post-secondary, practice-based programs that enhance employability.
- Most VET schools show interest to launche the Level 5 programs.
- Lack of clear policies, limited staff training, and need for stronger infrastructure.
- High interest in fields like ICT, mechanics, construction, welding, and agriculture.
Recommendations from the research were to develop clear legal guidelines, improve teacher training, enhance cooperation with businesses, and invest in infrastructure to support program rollout.
